Title: TD Bank North In Richford Robbed

Vermont State Police and U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents are searching for an armed robber, according to state police.

Police said the armed robber entered the TD Bank North on Main Street in Richford shortly before 9 a.m. Friday. They did not say whether he got away with any money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a gray zip-up hoodie and a black ski mask, according to police.

Police also said the suspect was armed with a knife of unknown size, and was carrying a tan-type grocery bag. They said there haven't been any reports of injuries.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: The Vermont State Police are investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred on 09-25-2009 at approximately 8:40 a.m. at TD Bank in Richford, VT. The suspect is described as a white male, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a grey zip up hoodie, black ski mask, and carrying a tan grocery type bag.  Subject was armed with a knife of unknown size.  The subject was last seen leaving the TD Bank on Main Street in Richford on foot.  It is unknown if a vehicle is involved.  No further information at this time.

I believe that the name of the TD Bank North will be changing shortly to just TD Bank
