Title: Flu Clinic On October 6, 2009
Post by: Henry on September 30, 2009, 08:52:32 AM
Flu Shots (Seasonal) will be given this coming Tuesday at The Fairfax Fire Station between 10:30 & 11:30.

Hi, Henry.  I have received posters concerning the Seasonal Flu Vaccine Clinic from the Home Health Agency.   They are posted at the Post Office,  the Pharmacy, the town office, and the two senior housing complexes.  All clinics are listed for the various towns for the next few months through Nov. 10.  Seniors are to bring their Medicaid or Medicare Part B cards with them.   I understand the cards will be "Swiped" and paperwork will be kept to  a minimum.  We hope many people will be able to stay for lunch and enjoy Marian Eastman's excellent meals.    Elaine Kirkpatrick

Is this only for seniors, or is it open to everyone?

Thank you so much for that question Trevor.  I have sent an e-mail and decided I would call the phone number on the web site.  When I called the number, it gave me 7 choices.  The person that answered didn't know and gave me another number.  That person didn't know and is going to contact somebody in the immunization department and ask them to call me back.  Apparently nobody knows if this is for certain groups or not.  If they call me back, I will post it.

Hi, Henry.  The flyers should answer the questions posed by the commenters.  The clinic is for all adults, both low and high risk. If you are without Medicaid or Medicare Part B there are charges as listed on the poster.  The criteria for those who are considered High Risk is also printed.  If  need be, I can be reached at 849-6820 or  the Home Health Agency at 527-7531.  Elaine

Also, this is for The Seasonal Flu - Not H1N1
