FAIRFAX RELAYS
The Fairfax Relays were held Tuesday. I helped set up, but was cleaning my end of the school while it was happening, so I didn't get out to take some pictures.
The Relays have to be the biggest sporting event in Fairfax. Bigger than any other sport's regular season game or playoff game. Over a dozen schools. 400-500 athletes. Plus all the parents watching. Cars parked all over the place. It even got a mention in the Free Press Tuesday. And I'm sure the Messenger will have pictures Wednesday.
Lots of parents helped set up and tear down, and ran concession stands and helped run the event.
Congratulaions to all.
