The Bass Pro Shop in Auburn, NY

REDNECK HEAVEN
I only took a picture of the outside. I didn't take any pictures of the inside, because you need to see it to believe it.
Anything and everything you need to be an outdoor sportsman. Or sportswoman. This place seemed to be as big as Costco.
There are two bass boats sitting outside. More boats inside. Outboard motors. John Deere ATVs. Anything you need for hunting or fishing. Clothing. Boots. Camouflage everything. Duck blinds. Tree stands. Fishing poles. Guns.
And the place was jumping. A lot of people milling around. You can buy a hot dog to munch on while you are shopping. Or a bag of crunchy covered nuts to munch on. I sprang for the nuts. They were good.
I ended up buying a new holder for my Leatherman, but left it in the toterhome.
The reason we went is because we made friends with Chuck Hebing's daughter. She went to breakfast with us, and mentioned she wanted to go to the Bass Pro Shop. We climbed in to the truck of Anthony's friend, John Cook, and away we went.
This happened late Saturday morning before the Outlaw show at Rolling Wheels.
Apparently, there is another sporting goods store called Cabala's, which is huge as well.
If you are out travelling, and see a Bass Pro Shop, and you are into sportsman stuff, stop in.

We have one here in the Nashville area at Opry Mills Mall.  The mall used to be an amusement park (Opryland) I remember going to it as a kid a few times.  The whole park is now the mall, the Opryland Hotel (one of the largest in the country) and the Grand Ole Opry.....anyway....I love going to the Bass Pro...my wife..not as much!
