Title: Town Of Fairfax Press Release - Better Back Roads Grant

PRESS RELEASE - OCTOBER 22, 2009

The Town of Fairfax received a grant for $7,000 from the Better Back Roads Program to stabilize the bank on River Road.  This project served three purposes: 

1.)  stabilize the road;

2.) prevent dirt and foreign material from entering the water; and

3.)  make travel safer. 

The Better Back Roads Program is a program which promotes erosion control techniques that enhance water quality.
