Title: One Dead After Firey Crash In Johnson Last Night

One person is dead after a fiery two-car crash in Johnson last night.

The crash occurred at 6:11 p.m. on Route 100.

Police report upon their arrival both vehicles were on fire. The operator of a pick-up truck was removed from his vehicle, transported to Copley Hospital and treated for his injuries.

The second operator died at the scene. Names will not be released until next of kin have been notified.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information about the crash is asked to contact the Lamoille County Sheriff's Department at 888-3502.

A Johnson woman was killed in a two-car crash on Route 100C. It happened shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday in Johnson.

Police say when they arrived on the scene both vehicles were on fire.

Melissa Boivin, 28, of Johnson, died at the scene.

The other driver, Seth Machia, 22, of Eden, was taken to the hospital. Machia is currently listed in stable condition at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
