Title: November 21st & Still No Snow
Post by: Henry on November 21, 2009, 10:06:03 AM
Our first snow fall is really late this year.  I have spent a lot of time trying to find the information that Sharon Meyer gave last week which told us where we stood this year in ranking as to the latest measureable snow in Burlington Date.  However, was not able to find it and it was not on the Channel 3 Web Site.

I know that there are very few years that by this time we have not had some snow that we could see on the ground, even though it melted by now here in Fairfax.

I do remember the first year my middle daughter Sharon got her license, that she drove, which I believe was the year of 1982 that I never had to shovel my driveway.  Sharon had driven a whole year before she had to drive on winter roads and I remember she went down to Essex one night and we got a call from The Barrows Residence on Route 128 that she was stopping there for a while.

Not too many winters like that up here in Vermont and I believe that is the only one I remember of.

Maybe we will have one of those winters this year??

I feel bad for the hunters; not even a dusting to track the deer.
