Title: VSP Notices Garage On Fire While Driving Down Rte 15 In Cambridge

Fox 44 showed a garage on fire that VSP noticed and reported as they drove down Route 15 in Cambridge this forenoon.  They had a short video of it tonight and it looks like it is near the outskirts of the village on the hill on the left as you are driving towards Boydens.  Not sure how much damage it ended up doing or if it damaged the house.

Henry: This was my buddy's home. He lost his garage and his vintage MG inside. The house had a lot of smoke damage, but should be good for them to return by week's end. The VSP officer also broke into the house to free their two dogs as well. They were on Long Island for the holiday weekend and are realizing how lucky they are.

I believe this happened mid morning and it is surprising that someone else did not notice it.  I thought when I put the post up, maybe I pay too much attention to what is going on off the road, but little changes at people's houses as I drive along always attract my attention and it doesn't have to be a fire.

Is the fire in the area where they rerouted Route 15 years ago?
