Title: 47 Seniors Enjoy A Great Meal At The Fire Station
Post by: Henry on December 01, 2009, 05:24:33 PM
Another Great meal put on by Marion Eastman & Alberta Clokey.  We had Beef Stew - (The beef was so tender it just melted in your mouth), tossed salad, Waldorf Salad (I think- it was good anyhow), pickles, hot homemade rolls, chocolate cake and beverages.  Jim commented when he gave the treasurer's report, "Its amazing what that woman can do with the money she uses for groceries."

We all had plenty.  Jim Young tells me that Santa Claus will be at our next Senior Luncheon on the 3rd Tuesday of December.  Hardly seems possible, another year is coming to an end.

Thanks, Henry, for the post!  I wish more folks would avail themselves of this great meal. It is also a great time to meet new people and share stories.  We are blessed with a great cook who always prepares healthy meals--not to mention the decadent desserts!
You don't have to be a 'senior' (meaning over 60) to enjoy the repast.  Anyone is welcome and for those under 60, the cost is $5.00--and that's a bargain.
