About 100 Fairfax residents lost power, some up to 10 hours, due to trees or tree limbs falling on electrical wires, said Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) today.
Power was lost in Fairfax at 4 p.m. Wednesday and restored for all members there by just before 6 a.m. today.
I'm not sure what part of town this was in.
VEC said just under 1,000 members were still experiencing outages due to heavy damage to power lines caused by high winds.
Hardest hit are the Richmond and Hinesburg. Full restoration is not expected until Friday.
