Five people escaped serious injury in a vehicle rollover off Route 104 in Fairfax early Saturday morning.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said a 1988 Honda Accord, driven by Cynthia Germaine, 25, of Underhill, was traveling south when it struck a patch of snow and ice at about 12:06 a.m.
Germaine lost control of the vehicle, which swerved back and fourth in the travel lane, spun around and skidded off the road. The car then went down an embankment and flipped onto its roof.
Fairfax Rescue personnel at the scene evaluated Germaine, her three children, and an adult passenger. The car was a total loss.
