...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION ACROSS CENTRAL...NORTHERN AND EASTERN VERMONT...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING.
* TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES...ALONG WITH SOME MINOR ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE POSSIBLE.
* UNTREATED ROADS AND SIDEWAYS WILL BECOME SLIPPERY THIS AFTERNOON AND CAUTION SHOULD BE USED IF TRAVEL IS NECESSARY.
* A MIXTURE OF SNOW AND SLEET WITH POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD CENTRAL...NORTHERN AND EASTERN VERMONT BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS BY LATE THIS EVENING.
