Title: Fairfax Fire & Rescue Have Been Out A Few Times
Post by: Henry on December 17, 2009, 09:33:19 AM
Haven't kept track, but did hear our fire & rescue people toned out for some carbonmonoxide detector alarms as well as a snowmobile on fire somewhere on Swamp Road that was close to a building.  Not sure what the results were.  I went downtown shortly after the call for the snowmobile fire and it was sure cold out.  I don't envy our Fire & Rescue Crews at all.

A frigid night for sure.  Henry you are correct crews where out on a carbon monoxide investigation while a second call came in for a snowmobile fire with exposures.  Fortunately our crews were just about ready to clear from the first call and were able to respond directly to the scene of the fire and executed an excellent save of the adjacent structure as it did sustain some minor fire and smoke damage.
