Picture of the Day

Don Pigeon heads up in front of school spreading sand during a very foggy Sunday evening.
FOG
Early Sunday evening, I heard that the town crew was out, and Don Pigeon said he was coming down Mill Hill, and couldn't see 10 feet in front of the truck.
By the time I got outside to see how foggy it really was, Don was coming up Hunt Street from in back of school. I turned my camera on, and took a shot after he rounded the corner. I was standing near Carry Parsons' driveway. You can barely make out the light in the window at Thayer's house. Good thing I didn't have the flash on, you would be seeing a white picture of the fog.
Good thing it was near 40 degrees Sunday morning. 20 degrees colder and I would have been shovelling snow all day.
For the record, the first time I shovelled the driveway this winter was Christmas Eve.
