Title: Temperature Dropped To -6.2 Here, But No Wind
Post by: Henry on December 30, 2009, 07:50:27 AM
Nobody, but nobody wanted to go outside yesterday, least of all me.  We were short on milk, but I figured I could do with half a glass until I went down to Mass last night at 7 p.m.  Very few people out and when I went by The Fire Station, it appeared they were not having their meeting last night.   The first words out of anybody you met were, "BRRRRRRR, its cold."

Traffic was actually moving very slow as the salt on the roads just wasn't working.  Chris plowed my driveway Monday night and again yesterday as it had drifted in.

My son-in-law down in Bellows Falls was out fighting a House Fire, but my daughter called around 9:30 p.m. and he was home, thank goodness, safe and sound.
