I watched it spit snow all night long and when I just went out after the paper, there appears to be about an inch of snow. Looks like what we got would be good snowman snow.
The only local television I saw when the New Year came in was on WCAX Extra where they had about seven minutes of live fireworks. CBS had the David Letterman Show going and Dick Clark, who I feel bad for, but really should leave the New Years Broadcast to someone else entirely was on another channel. Flipped it on to another channel and it was a group playing and singing music I never heard of.
I must be getting old as I kind of miss the old shows they used to have on New Years Eve. Earlier in the evening, Maryann and I watched some comedians on Show Time.
The Channel 3 News showed some people down on Church Street and it appeared to be a great night for First Night.
I started off my evening with a huge honking big prime rib from Steeples and Maryann had fish & chips. Today Mary Kay is bringing over a grilled fresh salmon dinner for us as we start off our New Year with a healthy meal. Mary Kay does a great job with the salmon.
