Cropped 1. Notice the Brookside Ice Cream Parlor on the north side of Mill Brook. It was right on the edge of the brook.

I'm not getting out taking pictures, so I have been going through old scans I made of pictures from Mom's old photo album. So for a few days we're going to take a trip down memory lane. Maybe not memory lane, because I don't remember Fairfax like this, but we take a look back in time.

Those wires would be a mess if a log truck rolled through there.  Hope your arm is feeling better.

Thanks for posting these, Mike. I always enjoy these old photos.  it is so important for us newcomers to see the village as it once was.
