Hi All,
FAIRFAX -- A 20-year-old Highgate man was killed early Saturday after his speeding car went off the road as he attempted to elude police, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office reported.
Chad Sartwell was thrown about 60 feet from his 2000 Chevy Blazer after it flipped onto its roof on Vermont 104 near Oakland Station Road, the sheriff's office said. He was transported to the Northwest Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
St. Albans City Police reported Sartwell speeding on Main Street at about 12:25 a.m. They tried to catch up to him, but he sped off, police said. His car was found off the west side of Route 104 about 12:40 a.m.
