When I was in a remote village in the northeast of Nicaragua, helping with a medical team, the Georgia Lions--which includes Fairfax and Georgia--was in front of Steeple Market, collecting food and donations for the food shelf. Thanks to the efforts of the Lions, the generosity of our community, and the hospitality of Steeple Market, our larder is filled to overflowing. Special thanks to the folks at Steeple's who, on a cold and blustery day, offered food and warmth to the Lions who were collecting donations.
