Title: My First Pedicure
Post by: Henry on February 20, 2010, 08:35:40 AM
Ahhhhh Yes!!  Here I am going on 77 years old and finally, yes finally, my first pedicure.  Not only do I have a little trouble cutting my toe nails, my bifocals don't allow me to see what I am doing.  It just so happened that the last time I went to the doctors, I had cut my toenails, or tried to and had my big toe bandaged because I missed the toenail and cut my toe.  Dr. Ramsay suggested I contact the Visiting Nurse Association and go to one of their foot clinics, where for $15 they do a really good job and don't maim you or leave you with the potential of ingrown toenails.

Well, yesterday was the day, so off I went.  The particular clinic I went to yesterday was up in Swanton.  What a relief, I left there with no bandaged toes and feel pretty sure I will not be getting any ingrown toenails as they know how to cut them.

I can't imagine what my Dad would say if he was still alive - Spending $15 to have my toenails cut.

They give a pretty good and reasonably priced pedicure at Creative Edge right here in town. Pedicures are wonderful.
