Title: Nothing Like Falling Out Of Bed For A Surprise Wake-Up
Post by: Henry on February 22, 2010, 09:09:25 AM
Well, I guess I am going to have to get some Hospital Rails for my bed.  This is the second time in several weeks this has happened to me.

Apparently I was dreaming that I was jumping over something.  Kind of wild, because I certainly don't jump very far.  Anyhow, I landed on the floor on my face with the sound and feel of my nose crunching.  Glad I have a rug in my bedroom and not hardwood floor or linoleum.  Sure did smart for a minute.  Checked to make sure my nose wasn't bleeding or bent and found that it wasn't so went back to bed.  Did blow a nose full of blood this morning, but other than that no outward signs of the fall.

Awwwwwww!! These Golden Years!!

I'd watch those bed-time snacks if I were you, Henry :-)

Back in the early 70's, I was dreaming that I was sitting on a snowbank on the corner of my street and Maple Street. A car came up through the covered bridge and ran into the snowbank near where I was sitting. I moved over a little. The car backed up and aimed right for me. I jumped out of the way.
I jumped right out of bed and landed on the floor.
