Title: Steam Coming From Jim & Dale's Sugar House & Blue Snow From JoAnne
Post by: Henry on February 25, 2010, 05:38:22 PM
Hi Henry,

There was steam coming from the sugarhouse on Jim and Dale Webb's farm. The sugarhouse is located off the Berthiaume Rd.

Also, did anyone notice how much blue is in the snow with this last storm?

I noticed the blue snow too... At first I thought I left a bottle of washer fluid in the driveway or something but then I also noticed it at work.  Is there something specific that give it that blue tint? (I have a pretty good idea where the YELLOW snow comes from)

Trevor,  we were discussing this "blue" hue today at work;  we checked on www.ask.com and got the following article that explained blue hue.  Shortened version . . . it's compacted snow that absorbs light and reflects back blue.  pretty good article . . .
