I personally don't have a itouch, I have an iphone, and love it!  Especially now that at&t is opening up more 3g coverage!  Its my understanding the itouch is pretty much an iphone without the calling/texting capabilities.  The apps you can get for them are hit and miss, theres some good ones, and theres some useless ones too, but thats to be expected.  Using the Ipod part of it is nice and easy too, especially with Itunes.  The internet capabilities are nice and helpfull unless you plan on actually surfing the internet with it, it gets kinda tedious for that.  But using it for checking your e-mail, weather, facebook, espn (good app) its very usefull.

Overall I give the apple/mac products a 4.5 out of 5!  I don't think you'd be disappointed, although if your thinking about getting an itouch you might as well wait for your cell phone contract to be done and just renew with an iphone ;)

My boss loves his new iPod touch.

I love my iPhone, and it's not an updated/newer version either.

When our contract with Unicel expired (:( ), we picked up an i-phone for my wife.  it's so easy to use and works great as an ipod too.  I've only used the Touch a few times, but it seems to be pretty much the same but, as Shady said, without the calling capabilities.  I believe you can text with it though if you have a wi-fi signal.  and the 100,000+ apps is a great plus.

The kid got one a year ago.
I played with it to set it up so he could hit the router here in the house.

Seemed sorta neat.

The only thing I don't like is that it's cord isn't mini usb to the device.
Most of us have those mini usb to usb cords around but Steve needs to be "different".

There are different makes based on storage amount.
Are they expandable with microSDs or SDs?

My wife's favorite app is "flashlight".  It turns the screen white. HAHAHA!

Those come in handy......
I got one for my Dingle Berry and it has paid for itself a few times...
I know it sounds stoopid...but it is handy.
