Fairfax – Chad Arthur Bessette, 30, died unexpectedly on Sunday April 23, 2006, at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
Chad was born in Burlington, Vermont on March 27, 1976, the son of Arthur and Maureen ( Miller ) Bessette.
He was a graduate of BFA Fairfax Class of 1994.
He loved to play baseball while at BFA, and was a natural athlete. Chad was an avid sportsman and loved to fish.
He enjoyed motorcross and lived life to its fullest.

He was very well liked by everybody who knew him and was the joy of his parents life.
Following graduation from BFA, Chad worked briefly for a contractor in Colorado, where he also tried his hand at roping cattle.
When he returned he began working with heavy equipment. He became well rounded with all forms of heavy equipment and had worked for S.D. Ireland for over 5 years.
Surviving are his parents, his father Arthur Bessette and his wife Brenda of So. Burlington, his mother Maureen Barry and her companion Ted Bourgault of Lake Elmore, his brother Eric Bessette and Jenna of Fairfax, sister Jennifer Bessette of So. Burlington, his maternal grandmother Nelda Miller of Winooski, his paternal Uncle Peter Davaris of Burlington, and paternal Aunt Mary Martell and her husband Bob of Underhill, his maternal Aunts and Uncles Nancy Miller of California, Marilyn Combs and husband Edwin of Fla. , Bernard Miller and wife Rhonda of Waterville, Susan Guare and husband Philip of Westford, Danny Miller of Jamaica, Judy Bernier and husband Ray of Milton, Patrick Miller and wife Fay of Colchester, Flossie Miller and husband Gary LeBlanc of Richmond, Michael Miller of Oregon and by many cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 27, 2006 at 11 am in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton.
Burial will follow in the Fairfax Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chad’s memory may be made to either the BFA Fairfax Athletic Dept., c/o Mike Brown, 75 Hunt St., Fairfax, VT. 05454 or the BFA Fairfax Alcohol Awareness Program, c/o Scott Lang, 75 Hunt St., Fairfax, VT. 05454.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday April 26th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton. Fr. Feltz will hold a wake service at 8:45 pm in the Minor Funeral Home on Wednesday evening.
