Went out to get my paper in my pajamas and it was indeed cool. Around 16 degrees at the time coupled with a breeze. I do believe there will be no sap running today, so hopefully our Maple Producers saved some to boil for the Maple Weekend today through Sunday. We do have a warming trend coming, but I don't see any 60 degree temperatures in the immediate future or a lot of garden work being done.
I saw where the Minor Boys were getting their lawn spruced up over in Milton, so once the grass does finally begin to green up they will be all set. Noticed whoever was doing it had a little tractor with a lawn broom ahead of it. Seems to work great and does a quick and excellent job of things.
