I know I have posted pictures of the old iron bridge before, but I found these and it has two sides to it. The normal one from "the other side" of the river, but this time I took one from infront of what was Beradinelli's Store(now Steeple Market). In the second picture, you can see where you went straight through the bridge and then beared right after crossing. Now the bridge bends to the right for a more even turn. Also, the big building on the left was torn down to make way for the temporary bridge.
Update Wednesday morning: I decided to take a current picture and add it so you can see how things have changed.

Just a suggestion.

I love these old pictures Mike - I had completely forgotten about that bigger building beside the road.
-
That building was "the barn", originally owned by the Southards, our relatives. I remember that Aunt Clara had problems with bats in the attic space of the barn. And if memory serves, our brother Carl went down and helped clean them out for her more than once. There was LOTS of bat poop...

and for the totally anal ones -- I remember the large tree there too Either a Pine or perhaps a Tamarack .. Weird how you remember the weirdest stuff.
-
I seem to remember butternut trees on the property.

That bigger building was torn down in 1978.
It was deemed unsafe by some authority.
I have no relocation of that building in that picture so this is utter BS...........
That is all.
-
Sorry, Mike. These pictures(first two) were taken 1986 or 1987, because I got my camera in 1985.
-
Damn.
Missed it, like I said, no recolation......<----------------
Utter BS, like I said!!
I'll trip someone up, maybe.
