This Date in History-April 1, 1977. Minor's Country Store opens for business. In the early 1960's, it was Decker's Store. Then from the late 60's to the mid-70's it was Fisher's Store. Then it was the Great Falls Country Store. Today Jeff Minor and crew celebrate 33 years of serving the Fairfax community.

Isn't Customer Appreciation Day toward the end of April  every year, to mark this anniversary? :-)

Actually, they usually have on a Saturday in June. Better weather, maybe?

Henry's Minor's Store pic is the ONE I remember from the 70"s and 80"s.....
