Title: Fairfax Green Up
Post by: Tom Pfeiffer on April 05, 2010, 01:58:19 PM
Want to make the world a better place? Why not start right here in Fairfax by joining in on the green up effort. The town will be greening up the week of May 3rd. Elementary students from BFA will be going out Thursday May 6th. Several long time volunteers will be greening up during the week. Finally on Saturday May 8th from 9 AM until about noon, a combination of town and school volunteers will meet in front of the community library and will be transported to any locations not greened up.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call Tom Pfeiffer at 318-5226.

Somebody started some Green-Up on their own, apparently Easter Sunday afternoon.  I noticed that in the hill just above Claude Rainville's there was quite a bit of crap on the side of the road and today when I went down through to go to Senior Citizens, someone had it all picked up and in garbage bags.  Hopefully our Trash Collectors will pick it up??

Nice community spirit by somebody.
