Title: People With PO Box Not Mailed Census Forms
Post by: Henry on April 06, 2010, 07:43:32 AM
According to Channel 5, people who have a Post Office Box for a mailing address are not getting mailed census forms, however they say they will not be forgotten as a census taker will visit them.

I have a PO Box and a mail box.  I didn't receive a form at either location.  Lots of $ spent on advertising, etc. for the Census and it's supposed to be efficient.  However, it doesn't seem that efficient when you can't even call in to report that you didn't receive a form until after April 12th.

We received ours -- street address --- and mailed it back.  After we mailed it back we received two or three 'reminders'  to fill out the census so that 'we can be counted'.  We even received a whole new form to fill out 'just in case we lost the first one'.

How efficient is this process?

Thought just came to me... maybe this is some sort of 'stimulus' for the USPS.
