Mary Kay took this photo from work on Water Tower Hill near Fox Studios and called us to let us know what was coming.  It has been quite a week weatherwise considering the big snow storm we had just a week ago.

Here's a picture I took with my iPhone around 6pm as I was coming home for supper.

Henry          The pictures sent by Mary Kay and Mike certainly made the approaching storm seem ominous...was this the reason that the softball game was stopped ?  I remember back in June, 1973 when a similar storm hit Fairfax around 7:15 pm and created havoc, including tearing the temporary roof off the new addition under construction at BFA  and, in addition, destroying Reggie's chicken barn. It was also truly amazing that the large number of Little League aspirants sprawled across the BFA fields that night all got off safely. Lots of memories on that storm and its consequences for Fairfax for the next few years.

The pics are great but really don't show the blackness in the sky we saw as we were 1/2 way home from our walk!  As we walked the "Boissenault" loop, the sky grew darker, the thunder rolled, the lightning was amazing & we knew we were in for a challenge!  We hit Main St. & saw the wind swirling dust then rain & hail in front of us! Yup, we got a little wet but not as much as it would have been if not for the kindness of Richard!
