Six BFA-Fairfax middle school students, two teachers, (Al Daniels and Jim Lonergan) and one high school student were at Northfield Middle & High School this past Saturday competing in the State Geo Bee Tournament. BFA-Fairfax tied for Runners Up.

Team Results are as follows:
Albert D. Lawton Middle School: 1st place with 98 points
BFA-Fairfax & Rutland Middle School: Tied for 2nd Place with 92 points
Orleans Middle School: Fourth Place with 82 points

Geo-bee is a general knowledge quiz game about geography
organized by the Vt. Principals' Association. Teams compete in a format
similar to the Vermont spelling bee, answering questions about location,
current events, map-reading, and other geography-related subjects.
