The storm system that brought us snow on Mother's Day is moving away from the northeast. High pressure is taking its place and that will clear out the skies today. It will still be cool and breezy, though. High temperatures will only be in the upper 40s and low 50s. The normal high for Burlington on May 10th is 66 degrees.
Cover the plants tonight! It will be cold and frosty with a hard freeze in many locations as temperatures dip into the 20s for overnight lows.
We'll get a little warmer starting on Tuesday, but temperatures will still remain well below average until we get into next weekend.
We'll have a couple of rounds of rain showers this week - one on Wednesday, especially in our southern areas, and another one on Friday.

I called Mom on her day.
I told her that it was in the mid 60s and we cleaned up the back, etc etc, sunny, etc etc, to damn hot for May...etc etc.
She asked if I had been to Henry's site and I said no, and she told me you all had snow.
I giggled....... allot! Really, allot!!!
