RACING ACCIDENT IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
It's gone through some name changes over the years. It's been called Pines Speedway, Legion Speedway, now it's called Big Daddy's Speedbowl. It's located in Wentworth, NH. Anthony has raced there a few times. The track is under new management, and a lot of changes have taken place. The front stretch has been reworked and the 1/4 mile oval is now a 1/4 mile D-shaped track. The start finish line is now on the backstretch, or what used to be the backstretch. It's a very simple small town race track nestled in the woods. I took the above picture from a hill that sat behind the old turns 1 & 2. It was a great place to watch the races.
Not anymore.
That hill is now in turns 3 & 4, and Sunday night one of the SCoNE guys that we raced with at Canaan a week or so ago, jumped the wall and climbed the hill, injuring two spectators.
The #9 Robby Bodwell spun in the turn, and his wheel caught the wall, and away he went.
WMUR did a story on it, and here's the link to read the story and watch the video.

I will go through some of my pictures to get you a better idea of what the track used to look like.
