The first two pieces of the new bridge just arrived! I don't know how many there will be but it's a start.
Here are some pictures of the rig backing down Main St towards the bridge! Ye-Ha!

there will be 9 beams total (5 trailer loads)...the rest will be arriving tomorrow...
so whadaya think of my babies??? that sloped surface was not as easy as it might appear, especially for the one's with rebar sticking out the top..

Henry Thatcher, another BFA alum ('03), was responsible for the loading of the beams from where they sit in this photo onto the trailers that they arrive on in Fairfax.

Remaining loads will be arriving early tomorrow morning...8am ish will be the first then every half hour to an hour afterwards...
