Thanks Mike - I doubt that when the bridge was originally built that the communication on what is happening was as quick as it is today.  Its pouring rain up here right now, so I think we will be using the big old UVM umprella and covering the electonic joy stick on Maryann's wheel chair before we make the trip from the mudroom to the garage.

When it was originally built.... did they figure into the equation 2 ton and plus vehicles passing over it every minute?

Them old timers did done good.....
