Title: Jonathan Chappel To Be Interred In St. Luke's Cemetery

JONATHAN G. CHAPPEL

MILTON - Jonathan G. Chappel, 58, died early Thursday morning, June 10, 2010, in the Vermont Respite House in Williston. Jonathan was born in St. Albans on Jan. 14, 1952, the son of Evelyn Chappel. He had worked for many years for Gardener's Supply in Essex Junction. The outpouring of support through his illness, from those that he worked with, brought him much comfort. Jon enjoyed opportunities for barbeques with his family and friends, woodworking, as well as trolling a fishing line or two. Jon is survived by his children, Jessica Chappel and her partner, Timothy Saunders, of Essex, Jennifer Chappel of Kingman, Ariz., and Jon Chappel and wife, Ula, of Tempe, Ariz.; and by his grandchildren, Caleb and Rue. He is also survived by his fraternal twin brother, Jim Chappel and his wife, Marie, of St. Albans, and their daughters, Nickie and Michelle Chappel. He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn; and his faithful canine companion, Mandy. Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans, VT 05478 or to the Vermont Respite House, 99 Allen Brook Lane, Williston, VT 05495. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 15, at 10 a.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery in Fairfax.
