This Date in Fairfax History- June 11, 1939
Two churches in Fairfax voted to form one church. Members of the Fairfax Baptist Church and members of the Fairfax Methodist Church voted to join together and form one church, the United Church of Fairfax. Services are held in the Methodist Building on Fletcher Road for most of the year, with services held one month a year during the summer at the Baptist Building on Main Street.
