Vermont is kicking off summer by waiving fees at state parks this weekend.
For the "Vermont Days" celebration, all day areas, state-owned historic sites, and the Vermont Historical Society Museum will be open, at no charge.
On Saturday, fishing is free all day - it is the one day you can fish without a license in Vermont.
Vermont Days is sponsored by the departments of Forests, Parks & Recreation, Fish & Wildlife, Tourism & Marketing and the Division of Historic Preservation.
