Title: Off To Get Some Fresh Peas
Post by: Henry on June 26, 2010, 08:59:13 AM
Maryann's favorite vegetable is Fresh Garden Peas and I have been calling Paul Mazza's for the past few weeks to see if they have any yet.  Have to go down to Hannafords, so will circle around on River Road in Essex and pick some up.  She loves them with milk, butter, salt & pepper with bread & butter.  She will be a happy camper tonight for supper.

I'm with Maryanne on the peas, except I prefer mine raw, and I love to eat them while driving, and throw the pods out the window. leaving a pod trail behind me!  Happy Summer!

Suzy, that's considered "Depositing organic litter on a roadway" or something like that.  Some towns have ordinances against it so be careful! ;)

also organic litter... Just sayin'

Don't go through Essex- $100 fine for depositing under 1 cu yd, and $300 fine for over 1 cu yard.  I believe the ordinance was enacted to allow egg-throwers to be ticketed easier (?).  But sometimes I make things up.

Do they fine the farmers that cross their cattle across the roadways?
