Hi Henry,
I saw this whetstone wheel in a display at Lake Tahoe, CA. This one has a seat and peddle to make the wheel turn; so can be used by 1 person.
I found a swallowtail butterfly that seemed to pose for me.
Also a sky phenomenon; mares tail clouds with sundogs and a rainbow circle completely around the sun.
The last is a picture of some snowplant. It comes up soon after the snow melts, in the deep forest shade. It is actually a fungus, getting its nourishment from other plant matter. It is a protected plant in the Tahoe area.
