Title: Community Playground Closed Due To Washouts
Post by: Henry on June 30, 2006, 07:33:18 AM
Hi all,

Peg Stewart sent me a note asking me to notify people that the Community Playground is closed until further notice due to washouts.

Very heavy rain here last night, particularly between six and seven p.m.

Water backed up at my culvert about four feet as we received about two inches of rain.  Town trucks were heard later on patching washouts on Richards Road, Russell Road and Fanton Road.  Have not made contact with them, but know they are hard at work.

If you are not registered and have info you would like added here about damage due to last nights storm, send me a note at vtgrandpa@yahoo.com and I will post it for you.
