As most of you are aware Aunt Maryann is currently at the hospital. All the girls are up here and they and Uncle Henry are at Aunt Maryann's bedside. Please send your thoughts and prayers their way - I will try to keep everyone updated on her condition as I hear from them

Thanks for the update Jenn, my thoughts and prayers to everyone in the Raymond family.

Just got through texting with MaryKay and things are still up in the air. Aunt Maryann had a big stroke last evening and was taken to FAHC and is in the ICU after receiving some medications for busting up clots. She cannot move left side, lost her vision in left eye and speech wasn't great. But she was awake and responding. This morning they feel that her stroke is extending and there's no certain outcome as of yet. The next 24-36 hours will tell us more. Please continue with prayers and I will continue to update as I get information.

Another Update
Aunt Maryann had an evolutionary stroke and things are not good. She has all her close family at her bedside. She has opted for NO life support, they are giving her Morphine to keep her comfortable and they are giving her about 24-48 hours. She is a strong person and has a strong family. My thoughts and prayers are with them and hope she is comfortable.

-
My thoughts and prayers to the entire Raymond family. Stay strong.
-
All of us of the United Church will hold Maryann and family in our prayers. May the Good Lord bless and keep all of you.
-
They are moving her to a private room where they can all be with her. There's a bed so Uncle henry can rest right beside her. As of about an hour ago her oxygen level was dropping and they weren't sure if she had much longer.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want;
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I shall dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.
Psalm 23

There isn't anything harder to accept than losing someone you love. There are also no words to truly bring comfort. Maryann was a ray of sunshine with an infectious hardy laugh that made you want to laugh and smile also--the Raymond family was truly blessed to have her and are truly blessed to have each other as Henry so often reminds us in his posts. Maryann was blessed to have lived her life with a wonderful husband and children who loved her dearly when so many never know what that feels like.
She is in a better place and can be remembered for the happy, red sox loving soul that she was.
May God bless you and grant you peace in your in your sorrow.

My Dear Henry & Daughters, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Maryann and I use to ride together to work with Bernard Cherrier. Her and I held hands and prayed we would get home safe and sound. Of course we had alot of giggles over that. She was a very special lady. Kena
