Title: Eagle Photographed On Brick Church Road
Post by: Henry on July 06, 2006, 07:39:53 AM
Hi all,

Back in May, Shirley Langlois photographed a huge bird and sendt me the following photos and note:

"Hi Henry,
Here are the pictures of a hugh bird I saw in the pasture across the street from our house on Brick Church Rd. I spotted this young bird in early May and went back home to get my camera. I sent the pictures to my Ornithology teacher who forwarded them to a bird expert who said it was a juvenile bald eagle. They don't get their white head until their second or third year. It was the biggest bird I have ever seen, and when it took off the wing span was incredible. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Shirley"
