Fairfax job still open
July 7, 2006
FAIRFAX -- The BFA-Fairfax football program is looking for its first varsity football coach. Again.
Jason Thomas, who played at Poultney High School and the University of Massachusetts, accepted the job in April but resigned Thursday after having trouble finding a teaching job in the area.
"It's unfortunate," high school Principal Scott Lang said Thursday night
Lang and Brown said they will look at all avenues to fill the job. Fairfax, which has been playing club football since 2004, is scheduled to plays its first varsity schedule this fall.
