I have to say i find the sign rough road at the intersection of Ramsey and 128 to be pretty amusing. This is the smoothest i remember 128 being and it is a dirt road.

I agree! Looking forward to the completion of Rte 128!
An FYI for those travelling the road during the day when construction is going on. If you see a Big Water Truck coming at you, ROLL UP YOUR WINDOWS!!! They are watering down the dirt road portion periodically!
I had my windows up and was enjoying my air conditioning while waiting for my turn in traffic, HOWEVER, the poor guy in front of me was not so lucky. I surely enjoyed the laugh, as for him, not so much!

Last night, 129 was NOT so good. We'd had all that heavy rain and the road was simply washing away. There were huge trenches where the water ran down the road toward the ditches. Most of the gravel from the Fairfax bound side washed into the Westford bound side. It was a mess! I will be glad when this is finished.

Just came home on 128. Thought I would enjoy the ride on a new surface but I discovered they have redone the best part of 128! The smoothest part of 128 has been redone! Are they planning to do the part that needs it? The part by the old trailer court is really in need of MAJOR attention. Oh well, that is just my opinion.
