If you have the speed and transfer quota, check out

http://stagevu.com

They download as .avi files.
If you have Divx they are pretty god quality.

I suggest downloading them.

I D/L Hot Tub Time Machine, burnt it to a DVD and processed it through my PS3 and it WAS DVD quality.

Most downloads are 500mb.

I popped, dragged,  it on my WD My Book and it played to my TV via my HTPC and it was in acceptable viewing parameters.

We've been downloading and watching stuff on our Netflix queue through our Wii game system.  It doesnt cost any more than we were already paying for Netflix.  Not everything from Netflix is available for download, but about half of the things we have on our queue are.  Very handy!

PS.

You don't download from Netflix, you stream.
You can stream from Netflix on the PS3 in 720.

IF you ARE downloading from Netflix, send me an e-mail on how to do it! Please?
Pretty please?

You've got me there. ;)  As a proud computer-geek, I should be ashamed!
