Profits from last year's Calcutta were used to buy the Res-Q-Jacks featured below.

I may have missed it, but is there a specific idea/project/equipment slated for this year's profits?

Mike,
There is no "official" target for funds as of yet. We do have a couple of avenues we need to investigate.
1. The expansion of our current hydraulic vehicle extrication tools.
2. A new multi-gas metering system to be used in carbon monoxide situations, hazardous atmospheres and confined spaces.
Either way funds from this years Calcutta I can assure will be put to the best and most practical uses to aid the citizens of our community. Thank you to all who have contributed to this fund raiser in the past and for those who are participating for the first time.

Deputy Chief

Thank you, Dave, the last thing I want to do is cost someone their job now.

No worry's Dave's job is secure. With 808 views on Henry's site we should be looking good. I haven't got the word to stop selling yet so there is still a chance to get a ticket.

-
As of last night we still have 18 tickets to sell.

I don't mean to sound stupid but what is "bump"?
-
You don't sound stupid, Lena. New lingo takes explanation.
Every time you post something to a topic, it goes to the top of the forum list - or "bumps" it up the line...so, if you have nothing to say, but want to have people still see the topic, you just type "bump" to bump it up.
-
16 left to go. carved beef this year.
-
lol thank you Lena for the question and margie for the answer, I had no idea what the "bump" was either
