Current News & Events / Re: Asking Your Indulgence On A Particular Topic
« on: August 27, 2013, 11:01:10 AM »
I am really sorry to hear this, Henry.  I agree that it may hurt all of us in the end. This morning I was listening to the radio , and was a bit surprised at the sponsors of the news programs.  One was Al jazerra America and Hydro Quebec. That was unnerving.

Best wishes to your daughter, son-in-law and family.

Yes, I used to work in the building on the right during the 1980's.  The building on the left has arleady been demolished.  Beautiful buildings.

Thoughts & Musings From Pastor Liz / Re: Do Dogs go to Heaven?
« on: March 22, 2013, 04:55:12 PM »
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them.  And, every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart.  If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be all dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are" ~Cheryl Zuccaro

I am sorry for the loss of your friend, and I do believe "All Dogs Go to Heaven".  My Heaven will have lots of dogs!

Yes, it is a good day to stay inside!  It sure does look pretty outside.  We're hoping it will be making ice on the lakes!  :)

General Discussion / Re: Is the wish book still alive and well?
« on: December 23, 2012, 09:43:15 AM »
I loved the "wish books" too.  Ours were in high demand with 4 kids in the house. We used to circle the things we had our eye on, in hopes of finding it under the tree.   I really enjoy getting together with my family during Christmas.  I hope you will have a very happy and healthy Christmas with your family.

There's a new book out "Milk Money" by Kirk Kardashian.  I believe he is a Vermont resident who's child's child's daycare provider is a Vermont farmwife.  The book might help with some of your questions.
