I live on Craftsfield Road and came home to a little black chihuahua type dog who was shivering on my front porch at around 1:30 today.  Trying to find his owner.

I found a very friendly well behaved female black lab running around Craftsfield Road neighborhood this morning.  I brought her home because I was afraid she would be hit on 104.  I have her in my back yard.  I do have a photo of her but don't know how to post it on this forum.  I can e-mail the photo to someone who does know how to post pics.

Wait a minute!  There is going to be a Star Trek movie without Shatner as Kirk?  Oh no.  They can't do that.  Same shame shame.

Hey Chris,

I thought Jim Kirk's middle name was Tiberius.

Yea, I took the plunge and got WildBlue at the beginning of the week.  It is faster than dial up but not as fast as DSL.  I like it a lot better than dial up.  I also hooked up a wireless router which is very nice.

Hughes Net or Wild Blue are my only options for broadband access.  I have spoken with a few people who have satellite and are not at all happy with it.  I'm on the fence.  It is very expensive to have installed between $300 and $400 and I gather that it is not as fast as promised.  But, it has to be faster than my dial up.  Right?  Anyone out there with any satellite broadband access experience?

Globalnet did come to my house and tested the signal.  It is too week for me to get broadband but my next door neighbor was able to get it.  Lucky duck!!  I have to wait for the company to put up another repeater in the area.  They told me they put my name on a list and would call when they put another one up in the area.

I live north of 104A on Craftsfield Road.  Globalnet told me wireless broadband was not available to me.  I am anxiously awaiting anything that is faster than dial up.  I'll participate in your survey Tim.
