Lost & Found Animals / Found Siamese Cat North Fairfax
« on: October 15, 2014, 06:09:33 PM »
Have been seeing a siamese cat in No. Fairfax for the last couple of months...off and on. Have finally discovered that it is living under the garage next door. The house there has been empty for 2 years. Have not been able to get too close to it befor it runs off, but it is definately a Siamese, dark head, light colored rest of body. The house is across the street from Northwestern Riding Club..near Nichols rd. Am working at gaining its t3ust, but until then, if anyone knows who it might belong too please contact me via this forum.

Lost & Found Animals / Found cat No. Fairfax
« on: October 29, 2013, 12:44:50 PM »
Last friday morning I discovered my cat had been hit by a car on Rt 104 by Northwestern Riding Club.  Apparently he and another cat were up to some cat games and both were hit.  Unfortunately both cats had already used up their 9 lives. If you are missing a gray and white cat(gray mostly on front/belly, white paws/hindquarters) I have taken care of the remains. Just thought you might want to know.

We'll be starting around 730am. Depending on our progress we will be back on Sunday to finish up. For more information you can contact Debbie Decell via this website http://marcsbarcparc.com

Just had Garvey's Gardens in Georgia(4938 Ethan Allen Hgwy--rt7) deliver a dark blend mulch, 41.34/yd including tax, $10 delivery to North Fairfax.  Not sure if they had compost etc.

General Discussion / Thief in No. Fairfax
« on: September 18, 2012, 01:19:39 PM »
My name is Guy, and I have been running a mum sale on our front lawn(2729 Main) for the last few years. Have always used the honor system without any problems...until today. Came home to find that $40 in fives was stolen from the cash box that is set up on our front steps. If by chance anyone happened to see someone on our steps/yard between 6am-130p could you please let me know. Have a suspicion of who it might be, but of course w/o proof that does me no good. At least they didn't take any mums!

Kathy Hubbard 802-309-8515 lives on Fletcher Rd. Many of my friends use her and speak very highly of her. I concur, after having had her prepare my taxes for the first time last week.

Reviews / The Rock at Cadillac Motel

Restaurant has reopened so we decided to give a try. Have to say we had a pretty good breakfast. Mine came with 2 eggs, sausage/bacon, french toast/pancakes, hash browns or hash. Scrambled were pretty tasty, pancakes were good also, and the hash was cooked just the way I like it with a good "crust". Cost $8.95. Interior is freshly painted, although not much for decor, so far. But overall we'd go back. They're open 7-10.

Just got off the phone with  Welch's office and was told the he does not belong to this group. I didn't contact Sanders, as frankly, it wouldn't suprise me if he did belong.
